Radio Kanal 77 is the first private national radio in Macedonia, which started operating on October 4, 1991. Kanal 77 broadcasts its program from a studio in Shtip and Skopje

In April 2024, the research agency Gauss Poll conducted an extensive survey on radio listenership in Macedonia. The study analyzed listeners' habits, the popularity of different radio stations and audience satisfaction with the content offered. The results of the survey showed that Channel 77 is the most listened to national radio station, with over 400,000 different listeners every week. This impressive number represents 39.2% of the total population that listens to the radio in Macedonia.

The signal coverage of Radio Channel 77 is on 98% of the territory of Macedonia and covers part of the neighboring countries, with special emphasis on the coverage of the entire road infrastructure. The distribution of the program is carried out on 35 FM frequencies internationally coordinated and protected by ITU Geneva, which means that Channel 77 is also heard in the neighboring countries to Sofia, Vranje, Thessaloniki and other cities.
